Is the Google Nest Mini faster?

I recall reading somewhere that because of some embedded chip that it is faster than the standard Google mini speaker.

Currently I have a multi-second delay to pause Chromecast via voice - will it be faster with the Google Nest Mini or is that not the sort of thing that is fixed?

Got 2 today (£20 off each deal), not opened them but I have one of the older ones in use now.

I read it is faster to react to you and due to more mics and beam forming can pick you up better from further away.

Also noticed the upgraded from BT4.1 to BT5.0.
