Getting confused. I was under the impression that the HTC OneX+ isn't out yet but some places such as Mobile Phones Direct are listing it as in stock on vodafone or TMobile?

Thanks been searching all over. Some have said mid October, others end of, some November... some sites even have it in stock!?

I think sites saying they have it in stock are either lying or they expected the phone to be out by now and haven't update their websites yet. This looks like a lovely phone and I've been tempted by this having looked at pics and reviews tonight instead of the GS3. I hope that I'll be able to get a 64GB version, if there is one, and that it's available on Vodafone. :)

It's annoying, am tempted to wait and see if we get anything interesting from HTC for europe / UK market that matches the J Butterfly (DLX?) that was confirmed for Japan recently or to just get one of these HOX variants ( X+ or XL) ...

I'm not overly bothered about paying shedloads more for 4G just yet so I think a X+ would be the better choice ... no?

HTC probably will have something like the butterfly in a month or two.......

Main advantage of the XL over the X+ is the CPU chipset, far better, but the X+ with JB shouldn't be much worse in real world usage. Battery life should be roughly the same. So just comes down to if you want the extra storage or not.

not that well up on phone technology but can anyone tell me what the difference will be between the NVIDIA® Tegra 3 1.7 quad core processer in this and Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (Series 4) quad core APQ8064 chip clocked at 1.5GHz.

From what i have read, the snapdragon s4 is the better chipset

any help appreciated

All you need to know is that the S4 is in a different league to everything else currently available in phones :p

far better performance per core, power efficiency and heat amongst other things.

Even the S4 dual is better than the quad tegra and quad exynos.

Also it is easier to work with especially for the developer community, apparently tegra is awful and exynos isn't any better according to the CM team.

Only reason you'd go for a Tegra device is for the gaming. It has exclusive THD games. S4 Pro will be even better, but then again Tegra 4 is supposed to be better and so is the new Exynos 5.

I tweeted Vodafone this afternoon. Despite the new release date being in the next week or so, I was told that Vodafone had no information about whether or not they'd be stocking the One X+!

Might end up getting it SIM free and just carry my Vodafone contract on.
