Is the Lg ips226v the same as lg ips236v?

I've been looking at these two monitors and bar the size difference they look identical but the reviews say the lg ips226 is very responsive were as the ips236 is slated by numerous reviews for having poor response times. This seems quite strange that the response times differ drastically by increasing the size by one inch. Did the original reviewer (digitalversus) likely make a mistake reviewing the ips226?

Probably the same. The ips 225v / 235v are the new models tweaked for better performance

keep in mind that the panels are different between the two models, and so performance can vary despite quoted specs. I've not tested those two personally but you can see variation even between two models using the same panel, so i wouldnt be surprised if they are different

The lg 235v looks like a good option and it's only £10 more expensive. The lack or reviews as of yet is putting me off it but it looks like it was only released recently.
