I am building a basic PC for my son and i am stuck every time i try and boot up the computer it will not post power runs through but nothing happens.

hard drive-works

these i have tested in another computer
the mobo is a msi p31neo old mobo was working before i got my evga from OC is it possible it is dead or could i be missing something?
when i hit power everything spins like hard drive and cooler for cpu but i got nothing even try'd to clear cmos.
