Is the oc guide(pinned) correct? If so how to change Semprom multiplier?

For some-one familiar with the o/c guide, on page 1 it states I need to unlock my multiplier - but can I do this (or need to) with a semprom 754 2800?

Also is the guide now out of date - I see it was written in 2003!

Multiplier unlocking was on the old xp chips. The guide is still very similar but in the a64 you cant unlock the mulitplier - just raise the fsb

Thats what I was doing but before I spent the time to follow the guide - or take tips from it I was wondering if it's too out of date? For example it would probably be good to use the same benchmark as other people here but the one on the guide is an 03 benchmark - is it worth using?
