Is the original Unreal compatible with windows 7?

im not 100% sure but i just had a look on steam at unreal gold & there was no warning about it being incompatible with win7

Steam version of Gold Edition working fine here on Win 7 64bit.

Using an nvidia graphics card.

I played on 64 bit Vista but haven't got around to installing it on win7. i was so glad I did as it plays so much better than it did on my P166 with 32mb ram and 8mb voodoo2

One of the first games I installed from original CD on Win7. No problems at all.
