Is the P965 chipset the best for conroe?

I'm not sure whats the best chipset to get for conroe. I like the look of the Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi 965 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Not to be confused with the more expensive P5W. Will this be a good motherboard? it should at least support conroe out of the box as it hasnt been released yet.

Thanks for that mate, looks a nice board. Hopefully as conroe gets closer, we might see a glut of new boards. Its a killer waiting though.

So does anyone know what the best chipset is?

Im looking at the Badaxe which uses - 975x express chipset or the 965 express chipset. Is the 975x better? I cant seem to find out.

Thats excellent onfo there drunkenmaster thanks. I was thinking of getting a board with the 975x chipset but see some atractive alternatives in the p965 boards. Seems like we'll just have to wait and see as per. I would like a bios and capable chipset with regards to overclocking though, even though I'll prolly be only ocing about 200 - 400mhz at the most.
