So, looking to build my gf a little HTPC, consisting of the following -

Antec ISK 300-150 Mini-ITX Case with 150W Power Supply
Gigabyte GA-E350N-USB3 AMD E-350 / Hudson M1 Motherboard
OCZ Gold 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low-Voltage Dual Channel Kit (OCZ3G1333LV4GK)
Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Sony Optiarc BD-5730S Slimline 6x BD-RW / 8x DVD±RW SATA Drive

Possibly adding in a second HDD and a tv card at some point in the future. I've tried using the power calculator, but can't find the motherboard on there, any ideas if that set up will draw too much power for the no doubt pants power supply that comes with the Antec?

You probably won't be able to power that system with only 150W. Something around 350W-400W would be much more realistic.

You can power that fine your problems will be the casing will not fit really anymore then the build you stated adding another hard drive and tv card isnt going to work.

Almost the same spec as mine and it runs fine-no problems at all! I have actually built 2 systems around the isk 300-150 using the same mobo, a single ssd and a standard HDD. one also has a low profile ATI card fitted.

Thanks Zooankski, was somewhat mistified by the it wont fit comments. It's a small case yes, but it certainly seems to measure up ok. The Antec specs definitely say space for two 2.5" HD's, a slimline optical drive and for a low profile card.

The equivilent ASUS draws around 50w using a standard desktop HDD and desktop optical drive.

Assuming it's not massively different to the Gigabyte you've specced I'd imagine you'd get around 40w usage with lower powered drives.

The Antec's 150w will be plenty. :)

I'd say your quite off the mark there.
That system as listed will use 65-70 W at idle.
70-75 W at idle with the optical drive spinning.
95-115 W running Prime95 + Furmark simultaneously.

I'd say you could easily get a pico psu to power it, especially if its a build and forget machine where further growing isnt on the agenda.

No problem, All those bits WILL fit in there fine! i decided to go with a slot loading DVD rom on both of them in the end due to having no blue ray disks and the fact that my kids would no doubt end up snapping the tray off at some point!

WTF?

Atom/E350 mobos use very little power.

I've got an i3-540, 4Gb RAM, SSD, 2 fans, Blu Ray optical on a Gigabyte mini-ITX board all running from 120w. Absolutely no problem.
