If i where you i would keep it and get the bolt through kit and maybe newer fans for it.

It's still top 5 out of the box, and lapped with a washer maybe even top dog still with a quality fan.

Some new cooler on the cards but not hit retail yet, i7 bolt through kit is best bet currently.

Stick with the true. I don't know what shadow means by washer, will have to google that

edit: well, it was the obvious. ill try that one day

He means mounting it with washers under the X bolt through kit to get more / evenly distributed pressure between the Heatsink and CPU

im already using the washer mod

using some metal washers i got from b&q on top of a soft foam like washers you get with DVD-R packaging

I am yet to see a heatsink compete with a Lapped TRUE and decent fans at high heatloads so I would suggest you stick with what you have

Stick with the TRUE, a lapped one with a pair of good fans on it is still the best choice, ive tried the noctua, sunbeam core contact, titan fenrir and a tuniq tower, none of them were able to cope with the heatload on my old q6600 at 3.8ghz like my TRUE black.
