is their a new command&conquer being deigned yet?? and a couple of q's

hey people,

im just wondering if anybody has heard anything about a new Command&Conquer being made ?? or even a Generals 2!

as for the latest C&C, that is just a waste of time, its horrible, if they kept the same old Command&Conquer game play, it would have been fine and be a great game.

what do you guys think ??

also is there any games out there like Generals ??

I don't have any faith in EA anymore. They've utterly ruined the series for a quick buck.
 
i know tell me about it!

i like starcraft2 but i feel the graphics are too cartooney, same as red alert 3

i do hope EA sort it out and bring the old C&C back to life!
 
I hope so the only newish C&C I enjoyed was Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, C&C 4 was complete joke and RA3 was to cartoonish for me

I'm just sick off seeing EA buying Developers and making a mess of the games, after all these years you would though they would learnt there lesson

yup, generals was the best for me by far

i hope they make a generals 2 but dont make it cartooney like RA3, maybe like COH graphics will do me but if they did it even better with DX11 features, that would be amazing
 
So many games released over a decade and none of them have a atmosphere anywhere near as awesome as the firsts. I still play it often and its installed on every computer I have had.

Its not a new thing, they have ruined Origin, Bullfrog, Westwood and Bioware to name just a few.
 
Don't think we'll see anything that will be as good as before. It's all about big projects making big money and RTS games don't fill that criteria. The last one Westwood had anything to do with was C&C Renegade. Some of the ones with EA at the wheel were OK but RA3 was the cliff jumper.
 
I just can't believe they canned c&c Tiberium.

Renegade is probably my all time greatest game. So simple, but had some of the best fps enjoyment factor when online.
 
Zero hour is th best for me.last time I logged in I had like 15 accounts/names and some had over 1000 games played on them.so many hours of fun.i really do hope they make gens2.wasnt the biggest fan of red alert and c &c 4 was supposed to be the last in the Tiberium arc iirc . I remember reading a post from early this year by the new c&c community mod that when he came to victory games that they where already working on the next c & c game.my guess is that we will see something around April (hopefully) the only game I haven't got is 4 due to the awful reviews.
 
FFS they have to stop hiring new developers! They dont know nothing how a real command and conquer game should be! Bring back the Westwood devs!! C&C 4 sucked and it was rushed. I really hope EA can redo this game and leave the old one like a black sheep like command and conquer soul survivor.
