Is their a way....

I am desperate to get my music off my ipod touch onto my laptop/PC when I finish building it. My old laptop properly packed up so all my music is on my ipod.

I think I already know the answer but is their any way to do this, any software that allows it?

Not sure if this is in the right section, sorry if it's not.

Copypod is one worked for me but there are several others some free some paid for

I've seen a few free ones that claim to be able to do it but all the reviews seem to suggest they don't work.

I think copypod changed to copytrans.

Ah yes so it did. It works very well and I didn't mind paying for something so useful.

Happy to help. Shame one has to use 3rd party software to do it but at least it works and saves a lot of time if you change PC

I can understand why Apple have done it but it's very frustrating. They need to figure something out for the people who have genuine reasons to do it.
