Hi all,

Currently looking at a prebuild which comes in at £1389 without OS. Is there a better option/spec for the same ish money?

Case: NZXT S340
Processor: i7-8700k (3.7GHz) 12MB Cache
Motherboard: ASUS® PRIME Z370-P
Memory (RAM): 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card: 8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080
1st Hard Disk: 1TB WD BLACK 3.5" WD1003FZEX
M.2 SSD Drive: 256GB WD Black™ M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD
Power Supply: CORSAIR 650W TXm 80 PLUS GOLD
Cooling: Corsair H100i V2 Hydro

Wouldn't be able to as that's a prebuilt spec. Just trying to see if I could come close with a self build

Well there will be a labour cost built in the price of a prebuilt system..
Fill your basket up on here with the same components.
If you want to build yourself you can taylor certain parts to save a few quid, and also, you can pick your own case that you prefer the look of etc.

Getting it prebuild also means having one warranty for the components in addition to manpower putting it together - are you £300 above or below in your calculations?

Looks like a decent parts list.

I would ask them what make/model the gtx1080 gpu is. I am guessing they might use the cheapest blower style card to cut down on cost.

The motherboard is also entry level. Probably not the best if you wanted to push an overclock on the cpu.

Apart from that it looks good.
