Just a extra £2 get's you a gold rated Seasonic non-modular unit which has a 5 year warranty. 550w is more than enough for that pc as I doubt if it will pull 300w fully loaded and overclocked.

For just a extra £12 you can have a gold rated, fully modular Seasonic built unit with a 5 year warranty.

I bought that EVGA Supernova 650 GS, it was nearly the white SF Leadex.

I know the SF is probably the best quality PSU's right now but the EVGA Supernova series are right up there too and it has 100 Watts more (54 AMP Rail) Fully Modular, ECO switch.
Its much smaller than the XFX 750 Pro it replaced but i'm actually quite happy about that, more room in the case, its also a lot quieter, despite the 120mm fan, i can't hear it.

I have no regrets. :)

+1 it.

Don't know if you already know or not (apoligies if you do) but the EVGA Supernova G2 units are the Superflower Leadex gold units with a different fan. Same with the Platinum P2 and Titanium T2 units as Superflower are the OEM for those three series and they are all based on the same platforms as their own relevant units.

Seasonic build all the GS units which are much more compact than the Superflower built units so they fit in most cases that have a psu size limitation.

Also didn't know this :)

He's got his heart set on the white with stupid LED's. Because "it'll look cool" despite his case not having a window!
