Hi....I would phone and ask but customer services seems to be shut on Sundays. Yesterday, I called to upgrade my pipex account as I've been paying £23.99 (!) a month for 1mb broadband, I've had it for about 13 months and switched to upto 8mbs and phone package.
This has tied me in to another yrs contract but a friend has just offered me his spare room to rent so it looks like I may be moving out, will it be possible to cancel this upgrade or will I be tied in for another yr now?

Many thanks

Generally all contracts, be they for ISPs, mobile phone services, credit etc. are subject to a 14 day cooling off period, where by eiher party can opt to change their mind and cancel.

As you have a genuine reason for leaving, and they have already had their 12months of cash from you, then you should be able to leave if you find a nice support guy. Just be nice to them. :D
