I bought the disk version and even though it was activated through GOG it doesn't show up in my library and neither do any of the patches

The speed from the other link is 100kb a sec which is from http://www.witcher3live.com/2015/07/download-all-witcher-3-patches-latest.html

Only just realised you can import it, the game into the library so just need to figure out how to add the patches from Gog?

Well if the game is GOG then I don't think there would be anything wrong with using torrents specifically for the updates. probably better speed too.
