Is there a hold function on the Touch?

Is there a hold function on the Touch? The music keeps jumping around when I walk.

Press the power button? After you have done that you have to press either the power button or the home button and slide the lock bar across the screen to unlock it

The iPod Touch uses flash memory.

If the tracks are jumping then it's the music itself.. there is no head or spinning parts to "jump" during movement.

Hmm lol, the music should not skip at all for the reasons stated above...

I think it was because screen was being pressed against my trousers. Thats why I asked for a hold function
