is there a limit on folder sizes or number of objects on a disk in win 7 ?

got a 1tb drive, thats still got 300gb storage free, trying to d/l off iplayer and its telling me theres not enough storage on the hard drive.

any one any ideas ?

No idea on folder limits but there is a path limit of 255 characters if the file is being referenced via a drive letter i.e. c:\path1\path2\file.name

Do you have more than just that drive?

Is it downloading to a temporary folder on another drive that is almost full?

Is there not a setting within iPlayer which tells it how much storage space it can use?

pathname isn't the problem, double checked that.

its the only data drive i have, which its downloading to from what i can see, no indication its using a temp folder somewhere else.

no idea tbh i only usually download off it, i'll have a look, but theres plenty of space which i cant see being all needed for 1 little programme
