Hey guys

Last summer i got a 40" 4K monitor, seems there were a lot of bugs around and although i was lucky with most of them wandering back out from inside the screen, one died inside it and is visible on the display when it has a light background.

I wondered if anyone has any working method to remove them from the screen without damaging the screen at all?

Cheers!

If it doesn't drop on it's own or from a light tapping, then the only way i have found is to take the screen apart... They usually sit between the LCD and backlight panels.

I wonder if you can stop them from going near the monitor in the first place. there must be a scent that stops them going near a particular area or one of those sticky fly traps you could attach to back of monitor.

Dont press or you will squash it and it WILL get stuck.

Set brightness to 100, do everything you can to warm the screen, you want to dry the little ****er out. Then very very lightly tap the screen not where the bug is but the very close surrounding area.

you need to get some old fish heads (at least 10) and lay them under the monitor until the bugs crawl out to get to the fish
