Hey all,

Looking for a desk mounted monitor arm so I can pull across and "down" to sit infront of my playseat?

I got one from amazon but seemed to only be a fixed height?

Does such a thing exist?

As in down below the mounting point? (lower than where you fix it to the desk) There might some specialist ones(google i guess?), but you'll probably be better served buying a gas motion arm that supports a healthy amount above your screen's weight and mounting it upside down. I suggest an arm that supports a good amount above your screens weight is i don't imagine many arms are designed with inverted placement in mind, an arm supporting larger weights might handle the non-standard install better. Or go with the pole type mount, drill a mounting hole and mount the pole so it comes out the bottom instead of the top of the desk.

There are also ceiling monitor arms(like the wall mount options, but designed for ceiling mounting) which i'd imagine you could mount on the underside of a desk to.

I guess it comes down to where you want your mounting pointing to be and whether you're prepared to drill holes.

I think if it were me i'd probably go for the inverted gas arm to avoid drilling any holes, i wouldn't even blink thinking about relying on either of my monitor arms to cope with doing that (support for weight plenty above what either of my screens need).
