Is there a network monitoring tool I can use to detect interruptions to my internet connection??

I've been playing an online game with some friends and I'm having lag/disconnection issues while no-one else is!?!? (Discord stays working fine!)

I've tried wireless and wired (albeit via homeplugs - yes I know a lot of people aren't fans but they have always been rock-solid until now for me!) and have even reinstalled my OS and rebooted my router - still problems!

Is there any software out there that I could use to diagnose the issue and see if I'm getting any micro drops in the connection??
 
Just by way of an update I found a 40m cat 6e ethernet cable in a box and actually managed to wire up the ends correctly - ran the cable through the house and up to my PC - not only maxing out at 500mb connection but also no lag/disconnects on Jump Ship - so it appears that the problem is indeed the home plugs (or the associated wiring!)

Day to day use seems to be fine but for anything that requires a rock-solid connection, there appears to be almost "micro" disconnections - case in point I was playing Pokerstars online and every now and again the screen would go grey for a fraction of a second as though I'd been disconnected, and then it would be fine!

Glad it doesn't appear to be anything more sinister than the home plugs acting up and has accelerated me getting a proper wired connection sorted out!

I know about lot of people don't like the powerline adapters but coming from a 3-storey house where the WiFi was dreadful to the top floor, they were a lifesaver!

Truth be told they have worked flawlessly for more years than I can count - and certainly better than WiFi for me!
