that is head and shoulders above the rest ? Currently I use Eset Nod32 but just wanted to see if this software is suffice or an additional software should be used in addition or as a replacement.

Bitdefender Anti Virus 2014 and Bullguard are the current top AV solutions. Bitdefender has been top for the last 3 or 4 years now.

Ignore anyone who says to use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Have been using Bullguard for a good few years now, rock solid and great customer support.

There is also Linux

try Microsoft Security Essentials it works like charm
