Is there a power adapter for this?

Hi guys,

As per the title really, does anybody know if I can change the 4 PIN atx connector into a molex? My PSU for some reason only has one molex connector on the main loom so it means running another cable from the PSU (modular) around the back. Not really an issue but I can't really hide it.

PS - I don't think it's possible from reading online but would be nice to get a definitive answer.

Cheers

Regular molex has +5V and +12V and two grounds, 4 pin ATX is +12V and ground only.

If your device only needs +12V you could make an adapter (chop up 4 pin ATX extension cable and stick a molex on the end).

Thanks for that Bremen, I didn't think it was going to be as straight forward as an adapter :)

Freddie, I already have that single molex split to power 2 hard drives. I think splitting it again to power 4 fans and a DVD RW might be a little too much on it?

Thanks
