Is there a text editor, or some script I can run, that can insert a string of text at the beginning of every line in a document.
In summary I have a load of playlist files that are out of date for the location of the stored media, each line is:
\artist\album\song.mp3
I'd like to insert M:\Media\Music at the beginning of every line.
I don't really want to have to cut and paste! I can't do a find and replace though as "\" appears elsewhere.
Any ideas?
