After installing a HD in my car (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17802640), my headunit doesn't always play the songs in order.
Now, I've found my HU plays the songs in the order of the modification time of the file, not the order of the filenames like a normal portable mp3 player.
Does anyone know of a util that will scan a hard drive, and change the file modification times of the files into the order of the files?
EG, song 1 = 1st jan
song 2 = 2nd jan
song 3 = 3rd jan, etc...
I could knock up something myself in PHP, but there's no point in re-inventing the wheel...
