I'm upgrading to a new motherboard and CPU so feel I may as well go from windows 10 to 11 at the same time.
I'd like to do a fresh install of Windows 11
Is there any easy way to not need a new product key?
The only way I can think of is to update Win 10 - Win 11 first so that Win 11 is saved against my MS account, then do the hardware change and install a fresh Win 11 and hope that I can activate it by using the hardware change link.
This still seems long winded though, especially updating to Win 11 beforehand for literally no reason other than to update my Win 10 license to a Win 11 one. There must be an easier way?
