Is there a way of transferring non-iTunes purchased music off iPhone?

My girlfriend has an old iPhone 4 which has her entire music collection on it and uses it as an MP3 player, the problem is the battery is starting to lose charge very quickly and is probably going to die completely soon.

Originally she had all her music on iTunes but she dropped her MPB losing everything, is there a way of getting the music off that phone or does she have to go through every cd she has again... Something like 45GB of music :eek:

I used an OS X Application called Senuti to transfer the music and metadata from an iPod a couple of years ago.

I think i used a program called copytrans when i moved mine off my ipod. Think it is paid after a certain amount of songs possible.

+1 for Sharepod - needed to get the music on my IP6 onto my Mac Mini ... tried Senuti and that didn't work, so said to hell with it and bought a copy of Sharepod. Bish-bosh, job done in not much more than a minute - all I needed to do afterwards was to find artwork for a couple of albums, everything else was a perfect mirror of what was on my phone.
