I have a few games Ive purchased off the ea store but having two clients for different games is a bit annoying.

I've tried asking ea through live chat and they say we dont know how steam manage their games so we cant tell you if it works. =/

I've made a topic on their forum too which I'm awaiting a reply to.

But just incase anyone here has gone through the same process, is it possible to add games you have purchased through the ea store to steam? I've tried activating using the codes I have received but they come up as invalid...

Ok for example dragon age 2 is available to purchase from steam but it is not in the list... I was under the impression if it was available on steam you could add it :S

arghhhh

Only Steamworks games can be added to Steam from retail/other DD services.

there is not a single EA game that you can add on steam. simple as that.

Above quoted for truth.

What about Portal 2 purchased from EA download client, can that belinked to steam?? I can get the DVD key cheaper from there.

You will be sent a Ket to activate in Steam :)

Portal 2 is not an E.A game, E.A are simply Valves "publishing partner" to enable them to get discs in shops, that is all.
