Is there a way to change the icon for videos?

Hi,

With my having problems with MPC video player I have decided to use VLC which is working perfect. Only thing though is the videos that play in VLC now have a silly cone as the icon. Am I able to change it back to the nicer looking Windows Media Player one like in the pic below?

Also on a side note, I have FFDShow, what else do I need codec wise to play everything?

Open up explorer and got to Tools > Folder Options > File Types tab > Find the file type > Advanced > Change Icon

All i use is FFDSHOW and VLC and it plays everything
