Is there a way to control the speed of these fans?

Hi I have spent a lot of time recently upgrading my fans to

EZDIY-FAB ARGB 120mm Case Fans,Motherboard Aura Sync Fan,High Airflow,Speed Adjustable,Addressable RGB Fan for Fan Hub and Remote-3 Pack

the fans came with a power hub and connect directly to the hub for power rather than the mobo itself, - I just wondered is there a way to buy an adapter or something that converts the fans so that their speed can be controlled via the BIOS or OS?
I would presume that a fan connected directly to the motherboard itself is controllable - the only control I have is via a remote

tbh I don't really need the remote control - as I have downloaded signal rgb and turning the speed down of the fans would be better than having a remote - the problem I got is the remote only controls the fans it doesn't control my RGB LED stip - that is another problem lol

having a quick look on their site, not much help, assuming it's the non PWM hub you have there doesn't look to be much you can do by default. There is no PWM signal/cable to the hub/fans.

The only chance you really have is if they haven't used proprietary cables which combine power/LED control from the hub, do the fans plug into the hub using 2 cables? an RGB cable and a power cable? If they do use separate cables it might be possible to unplug the fan power (3/4 pins) from the hub, buy some form of 3-1 adapter and use that to plug them into a header. But I seriously doubt they'll be designed that way.

hey so so the power comes via a hub - each fan has a cable that connects to the hub itself

Then there is a cable from the hub that connects to the motherboard

what kind of adpater were u thinking? I suppose its prob not doable then because I'd need to still find a way to power the hub itself afterwards

If it’s just a single cable to the fans then realistically you won’t be able to control the fan speeds. You’d end up needing to ditch the lot and get a different set of fans/fan hub.

I think I saw a pic of the hub and it looks like a proprietary 5? Pin connector that does power for the fans and rgb as well as control only for the rgb which is what the cable to the motherboard is for.
I should know better
as i had the case open for 2 days….

What do u mean by properitary 5?

The hub is basically got three fans connected but there is prob 7 more free slots

On the end of the hub iirc that is how it is powered up via the psu so u r prob right wither stick with this combo or dich and replace

Fans are ok to be honest
I got a remote and i turned the speed down u hardly know they are there

But that are not totally dead silent
Unlike the last fans they were much more silent but their rgb output was too low
