Is there a way to 'glue' parts back together in Adobe Premier?

I had a hunt on google but the answers seems to be: 'No.. why would you want to anyway?'

I have this clip filmed on an old camera which starts quite dark then all of a sudden gets very bright. So i cut it in 2 and evened the colours/brightness etc.

Is exporting the video and starting a new project the only way to do this?

Did you use the Razer tool to cut them? If so you can just stick one on the end of the other on the time line and export them together (it will export as 1 file).
