basically for some reason the media streaming over wireless makes every movie i watch jutter.

I want to be able to hardwire the ps3 with the PC for media sharing but I can't seem to get it to work.

How is it best setup ? ICS using a cat 5 x-lan cable or is it just standard cat 5 ?

Ok all I want to do is ICS my wireless connection (internet) to the lan port that is connected via x-cable to ps3.

However my wireless network will not ICS as there is no option to. There is on my NIC card

:( a few years ago I'd have this nailed. Forgotten everything :(

Currently have both my PS3 connecting to my computer via the standard xbox ethernet cable. I tried the internet connection sharing and it caused more problems than it solved, trying to forward ports was a nightmare.

In the end I bridged the connection and it's worked flawlessly ever since.
If I remember correctly it was a case of going here: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections (win7) selecting my wireless card and the local area connection I have the PS3 connected to right clicking and 'bridge'.
