to arrange all my folders so they display in the "Details" format? Instead of changing each folder manually.

I find it easier to navigate like this.

Set one folder to the view you like, click Tools, then Folder Options.
Click View, then Apply to all folders.

Set one folder to details then click tools at the top Folder Options > The Veiw Tab > Then click apply to all folders.
