I have googled for an XP dual core patch but all I can find is something about changing the registry and a hotfix you should only use if experincing problems. No problems so far but nothing seems faster either

i see you got your X2 3800 did you get the OEM one ? and have you had time to overclock it yet . lets know how you get on mate .

Chances are you wont even need the dual core patch, I didnt.

Unless installing it gives a performance boost?
