Is there a worthwhile/sensible price U'G from GTX275?

I currently use a GTX275.
I game in 1920x1200.

The card is doing OK in most things, but turn on all the detail and see some of these games looking really pretty and sometimes it seems to suffer a little bit.
However.....
I don't spend lots of money on graphics cards any more - gone are the days when I'd drop £350 - £400 on one.

Are there any sensible priced upgrades I could make from my current card that would make a difference to performance?
Not really looking at dual-card solutions.
Or should I just stay where I am and look into buying the current "top of the range" when something else new comes out and drops the prices?

I'd hang on personally. A 5850 wouldn't really be a worthwhile upgrade - how about a second 275? But still, I'd hang on for a proper upgrade!

I know you say you are not looking for a dual card solution, but if your motherboard is SLI capable (and your PSU is up to it) - then buying a second GTX 275 is probably your best option.

You should be able get GTX 275 cards second-hand for ~£120-130. In SLI, these cards actually scale really well, GTX 275 SLI should be a bit faster than a GTX 295, which itself is a good deal faster than a 5870.
