this is more down to me being curious than anything else but:

how often do supercars have to be serviced and what sort of cost would you be looking at? i.e. for a ford you're looking at £100 for a minor and £200ish for a major service and i think its every 12000 miles normally alternating.

by supercars i mean cars such as an Ultima GTR, TVR Tuscan, Porsche 911, Chevy Corvette etc so not strictly supercars but certainly more restricted and impractical than most other cars.

i'm more curious about the Ultima and Porsche i suppose. they are to me, more 'super'.

I don't really know what Corvette servicing costs are like, but I thought that American cars were known for having unstressed, large capacity engines that last forever so presumably servicing costs are not horrendous. 911 is "reasonable" when compared to a Ferrari or Lambo but not what most people would call affordable. I *think* service intervals are something like 20K miles or two years on the 911 which is twice the length of time/mileage compared to your Ferarri and the cost is less.

20k mile service on a 911? I don't know where you heard that tosh, old diesels were more frequent than that.

Ultima GTR's are fantastic but very unreliable which is surprising due to thei agricultural technology - 2 valve per cyl.
911 is a good choice but depending on how much you have to spend, can be expensive to maintain- we are currently £115 +vat per hour.
