Is there an app, device, website, etc for routes?

I use Alltrails for hiking which is alright, but is there anything for cycling? The MTB filtering is useless on there. I'm looking for XC primarily. There's a few cycle centres near me (Gloucestershire), but I had a knee op a month ago so am just keeping it XC/casual, and I'm trying to keep the variety going due to fighting depression and loneliness. There are some official cycle paths which I will try, but it gets tiresome researching parking and cycle compatibility when I just want to get out away from traffic for a few hours semi locally.

I'm not against buying a device and subscribing provided it's actually decent. Alltrails as a comparison is just okay, it does the job, but it needs severe polishing.

Thanks!

Trailforks is pretty decent for mountain biking and one that I use pretty regularly. I find the Pro tier useful, but the free version can help you plan rides and get an idea for where trails are.

Ride with GPS I was using last weekend for the first time. I like it, much easier to find and explore routes than Strava. Easy to link with the garmin app to get the route to my head unit too.
Only downside, and this isnt the fault of RWGPS, was the trail I was on had a part closure to allow some vegetation re-grow. The trail was to a reservoir and around it, I took the Garmin reroute option and it handily diverted me completely away from the reservoir and put me on the direction back to the start point. I probably should have checked but only have a small (840) unit and had no phone signal to check.

Trail forks is great, but its probably mostly for trail/enduro mtb. Great for finding hidden trails.

Komoot is pretty good.
