Is there an expected patch to fix performance issues?

I havn't really bothered to record the numbers yet but I know this is a common issue and I'd like to know if Bioware is going to do anything to fix it, it may be the least they could do after rushing out what people are calling a 'disaster'.

My setup: i7 950 @ 4 Ghz, GTX 570 @ 900 mhz (1280GB VRAM), 6 GB System Memory.

With this setup, I currentley can max out pretty much any game I play, even on my 2560x1440 monitor. BC: BF2, smooth at max with about x16 AA. DA: Origins never drops below 60 FPS maxed (use vsync so cant tell fps), Crysis 2 maxed never drops below 40 fps.

Now, with DA2, I could immediately tell the performance was ****, so I downloaded the latest nvidia beta drivers which are supposed to help performance. They did.

So, can anyone give me some insight on this issue? Is it actually the nvidia drivers problem, or DA2s? I assume it was a mix of both as downloading the betas helped a bit but it's still unacceptable.

To give you a more rough idea of how terrible the performance is, here's a friends post:

"Playing the full game of Dragon Age 2 on DX11. All settings maxed in game at 2560x1600. Using 267.24 drivers and GTX 480 3-way SLI.

SLI is active and all cards are at gaming clocks and show utilization. Each card is pegged around 40-50% utilization per Afterburner.

Getting between 15-25fps at all times. Terrible performance. All other games are running fine."
