Is there an external version of this?

My dad has a nice wooden cabinet that but he wants to put all of his nice hot electrics in there. I figured I could plop in some nice pc fans to get the air flow so they don't overheat. I'm trying to figure out how to power them and I was looking at something like this if I could provide external power to it AKA not from a PC

You could, as long as you want the fans running at a set speed which would be determined by the input voltage is. 12v,9v or whatever.

You can buy power adapters with molex.

You can buy a 240v fans terminate them correctly and put them on a plug top.
