Hi guys, i just want to check if this has been sorted yet before i purchase vista. Will i be able to enable sli straight away with the newest driver update? Also will i notice much of a difference in performance with graphics and the DX10? Thanks.

2 300gb sata Hard Drives, 2 NEC DVD re-writer drives
Coolermaster 1000W PSU, x2 BFG 8800GTX Overclocked and Watercooled
Thermochill 3 Fan Rad + Laing Pump with XSPC clear top + XSPC Drive Bay and 1/2" Tygon Hose running 2 GPUs

All controlled via Aquaero monitoring system running XP 32 bit

sli works perfectly fine in Vista, although the OS doesn't have support for spanning if you have multiple monitors. if you want to save some money, that setup really won't need a 1KW PSU - and you could get a 280 for the price of those two GTX's, with better performance in non-sli games.

Do you think they will bring an update out for spanning? So are you saying the 280 would give better performance than 2 gtxs that are o/c ed ans w/c ed? How is this though when the specs ive got just dont compare? Also i am thinking of a 295 to run another 2 monitors then ditchin the 8800s when i can afford a 2nd 295. UVmain will i notice much in graphis etc on vista to xp with the dx 10?cheers.

I always got a really annoying nvkdllmm error or whatever with new drivers!
Must have gone through about 15 sets of drivers to stop it happening :/
