is there any other base building games out there other than these

command & conquer
DOW
DOW 2
COH
SC2
act of war
age of empiers

i cant find any and im really wanting a modern war RTS

Supreme Commander 1 is better for this than Supreme Commander 2...give that a try.

There aren't really many modern warfare RTS, probably because modern warfare is done to death (along with WW2) by other genres.

ive played supreme commander and didnt like it

tho i really enjoy COH and ST2

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II I remember as being not bad. But the only RTS that kept me engrossed enough to complete it was Age of Mythology. Every single other one, I've been bored after 5 or 6 missions and stopped playing.
