Is there any hope for my 3800?

Ive just changed cases, and in the process my x2 no longer works.

Either its somehow died in the last half hour from reasons unknown, or the psu isnt getting enough power maybe?

My 3000 still works, so its def the cpu or psu.

Whats the difference in power requirement between an x2 and an a64?
 
Ive got another 939 mobo that ill test it in.

Its a 525 watt Hiper, powers the same rig with an a64 (1.65v) fine

Its had 1.8v before (courtesy of matt100 ;) ) but worked fine since, as for handling it, i just laid it on a piece of paper til i was ready to use it.

Cleared cmos, cpu looks fine, no damage.
 
it does not work as in it wont boot with the x2 in but it will with a 3000, tried all combos of ram.

Am gonna flash the bios to see if that works
 
She boots, she scores!

Seems to be working fine after ive flashed the bios, which makes no sense to me but hey, least it works!
