Some fan controllers give you a live readout of total pc voltage draw such as my Zalman ZM-MFC2 which is handy. Harware Monitor gives some wattage readings but I am not sure how accurate they are.
And can't you get monitoring plugs? You plug it into the wall, then plug the PC into the socket on it, and it shows the draw on a screen or something??
I think some of the Corsair PSUs have this ability to a fashion, it depends on what you want to see it for. If it's just to see the power used, then a monitoring plug as mentioned above should cater for that.
You can't monitor TDP... you can get a power meter & measure power draw as hyperseven suggested.
You can calculate a full systems TDP I guess but it's pretty pointless, as design power doesn't tell you anything meaningful about how much power is actually being used.
Edit: After downloaded and installed Joulemeter, it was not same software I saw Nvidia used so Joulemeter is useless to me as it required WattUP PRO meter.
Ah yeah found Watt Up Pro used same software Nvidia used to measured GTX 980 power consumption.
Watt UP Pro is amazing device but pity it only worked with USA power sockets. I really don't understand why none of companies in UK designed similar device with windows software worked with UK plug?
