I might have to invest soon as well. I'm killing my 3 year old iMac with what I require it to do. What do you mean I can't run Aperture, install a 10gig program and surf 5 heavy content webpages all at once?
 
So, to drag this up from the depths - I've done some shooting with a Canon 7D today and just been playing with the results. Now I'd swear that it's much faster processing Canon RAW files than it is processing Nikon ones! Is it just me or has anybody else seen the same thing?
 
i will let you know in a few weeks, i got a refund for my mac pro and im buying an imac due to having vast issues with the mp :rolleyes:
