so, looking for a couple monitors (i bought 2 refurbs off ebay but they both have issues and i really should return them.) thing is, i dont want 16:9 and they must have vesa points to go on arms. thing is i cant find anywhere that lets you set or filter by vesa so i can find what models id be happy with then try to to find somewhere trustworthy to buy them.

i cant really be arsed sending these other ones back but it would help me to do so if i could find soemthings to replace.

atm they are two 19 inch 4:3 dells. 16:10 would be good, must have wide viewing angles so probably no TN screens and would prefer dell just so they match the centre monitor

Yes, there are. There's one price aggregate site that has very thorough filtering options, but forum rules prevent from disclosing it, as that site would list direct competitors to OcUK.

But I can list few models, to get you started. I have set filters for 16:10, IPS/VA and Vesa-mounting support.

I would also recommend setting the release year for 2016 and newer. If you go further back in time, the selection grows, but you might not find stock.

The next major filter that limits the choices, is size:
16:10 are quite standardized in this sense, at least with the above filters. There's either 20" or 24" or 30". The size also directly determines the resolution; 20" are 1440x900, 24" are 1920x1200, while 30" are 2560x1600. I will focus on the 24" and 30".

The cheapest 30" in stock is about £700, iiyama ProLite XB3070WQS (2014). Next in line is Dell UltraSharp UP3017 (2016), but the price jumps to £1000. For around £1100 there are NEC MultiSync EA304WMi (2014) and HP Z display Z30i (2013).

Among 24", the selection is larger, so I'll add the "post-2016" filter, and categorize the selection by price.

£200:
iiyama ProLite X2485WS
LG Electronics 24MB65PM
Acer B246WLA
Dell UltraSharp U2412M

£250:
NEC MultiSync E245WMi
HP elitedisplay E242
ASUS BE24AQLB

£300+:
Fujitsu P-Line P24-8 (£300)
Eizo FlexScan EV2456 (£400)
Eizo ColorEdge CS2420 (£550)
Dell Professional MR2416 (£600)

ahh, well the Dell UltraSharp U2412M is what i use as my main contral monitor, so for flanking id want smaller so a 20 inch would be it probably. speakers inthe way of getting anything bigger and speakers atm have priority. hunce why i wanted 2 19 inch 4:3 flanking but i really must return them. is it possible to hint at the places name? on the whole id be way more likely to buy from ocuk if they have

Not really possible to hint the name, as it's a fairly unknown site. Furthermore, I think the forum rules even forbid hinting, so wouldn't help, in any case.

But, I can list all the <22" monitors since 2016, because apparently there's only four of them with the earlier filters:
LG Electronics 20MP48A
Acer V6 V206WQL
Acer V196LB
ASUS BE209TLB

They're all around £70-£120. But do note, they're also all 1440x900 resolution.

By the way, there's also a few 19" 5:4 monitors, with 1280x1024 resolution, ranging from £120 to £230:
LG Electronics 19MB35PM
Dell Professional P1917S
Acer B6 B196LA
Acer B196LA
Eizo FlexScan S1934
