i know there isnt but if there is some converter doohickie

that will allow me to connect a xbox360 to a normal 19inch computer monitor (its crt) cos then that will give me hd right?

The official VGA cable comes with the correct connections to connect a normal VGA monitor to the 360. Doesn't matter if it's a CRT or a TFT, VGA is VGA.

Yes, HD is just a certain resolution, specifically 1280x720 and above, but being a 4:3 CRT, 1280x1024 will be the best resolution to run at, as all the widescreen resolutions would look very stretched.

You'll need a VGA gender changer (female to female).

Not sure if you can get them on Overclockers but they are available on a well known auction site...

Where do you think you plug that big cable with the VGA connection in?

You take the end of the VGA cable attached to the monitor, then attach it to the Xbox 360 VGA cable. A "male vga coupler" like this will come with the MS cable I believe:

One never did when a mate of mine wanted to use his CRT with his 360. He went to the local PC shop and they said that they didn't exist. Lmao!

This was about 8 months ago though. Maybe they do include one now.

It has built in wireless for the controllers and the headsets, but for a wireless internet connection you need to buy the wireless adaptor
