Is there anything wrong with drinking tap water?

You have a choice between the tap water with the pharmacutical enhancements that they add to keep us all passive and open to their brainwashing or spring water that comes fom a source downstream of a dead sheep.

AJUK heard from a good source that drinking tapwater means you will vote Labour and thus support and encourage better treatment of antisocial criminals.

I don't drink the filth on tap here in Windsor. It comes out of the tap cloudy and warm and looks like effluent from a factory.

The water back home in Ireland is bloody gorgeous though, it's better than any bottled water.

Cloudy and warm? You'd better get onto the water board.

Apparently it's normal. It's not fresh water, it has been treated but they reckon it is to a standard which is perfectly acceptable for consumption. I disagree.

We've got one of those inline tap filters that is separate to the normal taps. Tastes a lot better so I tend to fill up bottles with that and stick it in the fridge. Saying that though, the tap water here is perfectly fine.

i wouldnt touch tap water in this country !

in europe, especially in the Med, its much better, nobody buys bottled water except the silly tourists :p

Glasgow water is really bad :(
I rekon its just water in/around big cities thats bad tho. All my housemates claim the water here is no diff from the water they get at home (Edinburgh + Dundee) but the water in Inverness is sooooo much better.

Aberdeen water is pretty nice. I think it's something to do with the PH level. Soft/hard water, or something.

My g/f insists on drinking only filtered/mineral water, but if I need a drink and can't be bothered to fill the filter up, i'll just go to the sink.
Yes, drink only bottled water.

I lived in manchester while doing a degree.

The Tap water was horrible.

I drank bottled water for 3 years until I got back to the east coast.

I think it's good. In York it runs cloudy but then clears up, nothing wrong with it just doesn't taste as good.

Have to disagree with you, i would say it is the other way around. I only drink bottled water in cyrpus (we get 18ltr bottles for the water cooler). The tap water is very sketchy and if your not used to it, you'll probably be ill.
Water in aberdeen doesn't taste as good as water from Moray area, the water there is amazing.

Strange that, our water is known for being some of the best in the country. Most of it comes directly from the Peak District and is not too different to most bottled water you pay a fortune for.

I love the stuff, don't drink much else.

Yes. It tastes horrid! Its ok if you have time to leave the tap running for about a minute, and then drink it within 30 seconds, but if you get a glass straight out, then leave it for five minutes you'll regret it. :(

I just can't understand all this bottled water malarkey. Tap water is fine, I've drank it all my life and I'm still here.

Think about it, Evian is Naive backwards! ;)
