Is there anyway to delete/get rid of games on Steam?

Nope.

You can create a "Favourites" category and not have the games you don't want be part of that list, therefore hidden in a respect, but you can't remove them from your library totally once a game has been activated.

You cant delete games from steam, you can uninstall which will leave them grayed out but apart from that then no.

Hmm. Sounds like i'll have to do that then. It's not even as if i play anything at the moment. I've just bought far too many cheap bundles leaving my list is too long and i've grown out of the "lol get my steam games count up" phase.

Just uninstall the ones you don't use then have it show installed games :)

Yeah, we've all been there. I've started saving the emails/codes in a special folder/file rather than activate them on Steam straight away. Means I can give them away when I realise there's no way I'll get through them all.

Same goes for Steam sales themselves - buy all games on Steam as gifts and save them in my inventory, again so they are not "wasted".

I just use categories e.g:

Completed - obvious
Multiplayer - I hardly ever play anything other than Quakeworld online so I've farmed these off to keep them away from the singleplayer games
Old / In Progress - this is a catchall for games I've started but put in the back burner with an idealistic view that I'll revisit them one day
Rubbish - mostly games that I felt were so bad that I won't go back to them, but also things like older games that have been superseded by newer version, or really crappy games I have no interest in even trying (typically came as part of a bundle)

Games I've played recently i.e. 'actively progressing' will automatically appear in the jump list so I don't bother doing anything with them.
