Is there anyway to enable loging in Windows Messenger?

Just wonder if there is a way to log Windows messenger 4.7/5.1 conversations?

I would just use MSN that enables loging but I just don't like it, all those advertisements and security risks.

there are 'risks' with all messengers. i use the latest messenger live and use a-patch to remove all the advertising crap. its nice

it's a built-in feature isn't it?

or just upgrade to a newer version, then you'll be able to save a history of your conversations.

The MessPatch on www.mess.be can remove ads etc too. Can't stand using the 'normal' version of Live Messenger with all the ads and premium content, it's a horrible experience.
