Hi there

Been looking to upgrade for a long time now and with recent announcements on the NV8800GTS and the new Intel chips I am more confused than ever whether to buy now or wait another few months. I just wanted to get some feedback from more experienced members of the forum on the quality of the setup, what OS you would recommend and if you would recommend going for the memory upgrade.

if you wait for the new stuff, the old stuff will go down in price no doubt.

and imho the new GTS is well worth waiting for to use instead of the GT.
 
Thanks Ben - should have said, predictably I want this for gaming and have held off getting Crysis, Bioshock and Gears because I want to play them on a system that does them justice. This is the monitor I intend to buy when I do change but i am not sure about some of the other components such as the mouse, keyboard and speakers. Cheap and nasty or a bargain?

Really, by much? I'm not too confident in building atm - I like the reassurance of the shop's back up plus it will be pre-overclocked which I have no clue about. Just in two minds to wait a bit more but I am itching to buy.
 
EDIT: if you bopught it all as parts you would be saving 130.12....is it worth it ?? i dont think so, unless you have built before.

£130 for 2-3 hours work dosn't seem worth it to you ??? You must be loaded :S
