IS there going to be a ddr5 version of the 4850?

I'm sure I read that there were different revisions of the 4850 coming out with ddr5 memory like on the 4870.

Is this right? Any ideas when?

Thanks

First guys, its GDDR, which is actually different to DDR, second, GDDR5 it meant to have something like 2 or 4 time the bandwidth of GDDR3 ( I think).

with the 4850 at £130 and the 4870 at £200 even if they did make a gddr5 4850 it would probably cost £170 and who would buy that over the 4870?

GDDR4 was just an incremental upgrade to GDDR3 that was slightly faster, consumed less power but had quite relaxed timings. I'm fairly sure the 4850 is GDDR3 and the 4870 is GDDR5 to try and keep the products at a reasonable distance from one-another.
